Much like my Christmas shopping, I seem to leave Seasoned Meatings until the last minute as well. Right at the end of November, I decided it was going to go down; however, what beats to use? How many songs this year?

Then, just like a ghost at midnight appearing to show me the future, in walks Drake. I checked out his Scary Hours 3 offering, and aside from liking it in general, I really liked his beat selection for it. It dawned on me a day later that the answer was right there. I must use all six Drake instrumentals for this year's Seasoned Meatings. So off I went to see if I could find the instrumentals. BUT, here's the thing: they were beats remade by people, not the originals, and I was ok with this. BUT, BUT... THEN... Drake announces he is releasing the instrumentals as well. Kinda weird. I could tell the beats were also screaming to be used for a seasonal album. Plus, Scary Hours 3... into Seasoned Meatings 3... basically seamless, right? So SMV3 the Snowy Hours Edition was born.

Seasonal songs and this series are typically my own weird little thing. But another ghost appeared—the ghost of Ishmas past. To my surprise, he decided to get down on multiple tracks, which is pretty great, right? I do this because it's fun for me. But, man, how fun is it to make Christmas crafts with your friend? AND CRAFT WE DID. We kinda linked up over three Saturdays in between normal life to write and lay down some verses. As you will hear, if you choose to listen, there are some straight up seasonal jawns and some general life stuff. I hope you can find something to connect with, if even just a line in a song that makes you laugh and smile.
